Dr. Michael Baldwin

Saved at the age of eight, Michael Baldwin has dedicated his entire life to the work of God.
He grew up in a pastor’s home and was immersed in ministry at a young age. Developing his gift for public speaking early on, Michael received regional and national awards from the American Association of Christian Schools for nine consecutive years. By the time he reached high school, he had become an accomplished musician and, at age fifteen, founded the adult choir in his home church. He attended Tennessee Temple University in Chattanooga, TN as a double major in theology and music with a proficiency in piano and music theory. In 2005, the same institution conferred upon him the degree of Doctor of Divinity, making him the school’s youngest ever recipient.
Michael is a passionate speaker, writer, musician and administrator. He has trained hundreds of musicians, written and directed dozens of theatrical productions and concerts, and produced several CD recordings with WORD Music. In 1994, he joined his father’s ministerial staff at Crossroads Baptist Church in Bailey’s Crossroads, VA, where he currently serves as Assistant Pastor and Minister of Music. He has traveled the country and internationally as Executive Director of the Conference on Evangelizing Black America (COEBA), an effort to plant New Testament churches in black communities.
Michael’s great love is for people. He is a personal mentor to scores of young people and is a counselor at heart. His desire is to inspire individuals to pursue their God-ordained destiny and to maximize their impact in a dark world.
In 2006, after an intense moving of the Holy Spirit on his heart, Michael launched the Miracle Mansion Project. This is a collaborative effort to develop a world-class, family-based, media-entertainment complex near the Nation’s Capital. Miracle Mansion will be home to two theatrical stages, film production studios, a convention center, six hotels, a retail village and large residential community. Based on Michael’s fictional story, The Miracle Mansion, this one-of-a-kind destination is designed to promote high-quality stage, film and music entertainment with a Christian worldview. A portion of every dollar spent at Miracle Mansion will be designated to one of many charitable partners and “miracle organizations” around the world. Miracle Mansion is currently poised to a large parcel of prime real estate in beautiful Northern Virginia.
Michael’s entire family—his parents, two siblings, along with their spouses and children—all enjoy serving together at Crossroads Baptist Church. He and his wife, Lora, were married in 1994, and have been blessed with two great kids, Cameron and Casey. They reside in Alexandria, VA.
